Behind the scenes, our maintenance team ensures everything runs smoothly—and we’re looking for a proactive General Maintenance Assistant to support them across both of our attractions.

Role Overview

As a General Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the upkeep of park facilities and attractions. This hands-on role involves assisting with repairs, inspections, and general maintenance tasks to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with routine inspections of attraction facilities including rides, slides, pools, and soft play and climbing equipment

Help maintain water quality through cleaning and monitoring processes

Keep all guest and staff areas clean, safe, and well-presented

Report faults, damages, or safety concerns to senior team members

Assist with opening and closing procedures, including equipment setup

Address minor repairs promptly, diagnose problems and provide effective solutions to keep our facilities running smoothly.

Conduct routine checks on key facilities and equipment to prevent issues and maintain a safe environment.

Respond to any maintenance requests from customers, staff and management with a friendly approach.

Work closely with the wider maintenance team to provide seamless, high-quality service across the attractions.

Keep detailed records and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Essential - Previous maintenance role or experience with basic DIY repairs, painting, decorating, and simple plumbing. Safely operate hand and power tools (saws, drills, etc.).

Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Flexible availability, working schedule will include early, weekend and school holiday working,
