The Role:

As a Duty Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations. We are looking for a proactive and reliable Duty Manager to oversee daily operations during assigned shifts. You will act as the senior person on-site, ensuring the Waterpark runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while delivering an outstanding experience for every customer. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise staff across the waterpark during your shift

•  
• Ensure all rides, pools, and attractions operate safely and meet compliance standards
• Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest queries or complaints

• Monitor health & safety procedures.

• Initiate, respond and coordinate the team during emergency action procedures. 

• Conduct regular checks of facilities and equipment

• Support staff training, performance, and motivation

• Oversee opening and closing procedures

• Monitor cleanliness and presentation of all facilities. 

• Support stock control and operational administration tasks. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role (leisure, hospitality, or similar preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving ability
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Strong sense of responsibility and awareness of safety
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or willingness to obtain)
• Confident in using digital tools to maintain organised operational records, and communication with customers and team members

Desirable:

• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Experience in a waterpark or aquatic environment.

• Leisure Management Qualification
