The Role:
As a Duty Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations. We are looking for a proactive and reliable Duty Manager to oversee daily operations during assigned shifts. You will act as the senior person on-site, ensuring the Waterpark runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while delivering an outstanding experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise staff across the waterpark during your shift
- Ensure all rides, pools, and attractions operate safely and meet compliance standards
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest queries or complaints

Monitor health & safety procedures.

Initiate, respond and coordinate the team during emergency action procedures.
- Conduct regular checks of facilities and equipment
- Support staff training, performance, and motivation

Oversee opening and closing procedures

Monitor cleanliness and presentation of all facilities.

Support stock control and operational administration tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role (leisure, hospitality, or similar preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving ability
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Strong sense of responsibility and awareness of safety
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Confident in using digital tools to maintain organised operational records, and communication with customers and team members
Desirable:

First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience in a waterpark or aquatic environment.
